Marissa Herrera is a 3rd-generation Chicana/Indigenous woman and Los Angeles native honored to be making her OSF debut. Regional credits include The Denver Center for the Performing Arts, South Coast Repertory Theater, Seattle Repertory Theater and Portland Center Stag (Quixote Nuevo, Choreographer), The La Mirada Theater (In the Heights, Co-Director/Choreographer) and Musical Theater West (SUEÑOS, Director for staged reading). Acting credits include the 35th Anniversary of Zoot Suit National Tour (Lupe Reyna), Selena Forever National Tour and Paquitos Christmas. TV/FILM credits include BONES (FOX) and You Got Served (Sony Pictures). Marissa is a member of the ArtEquity BIPOC Leadership Circle and was honored in Ford Motors' "Latinas On the Move" national campaign. Marissa has been nominated for her choreography and direction by The Henry Awards, L.A. Drama Critics Circle and Broadway World Regional Awards. She is the Executive Artistic Director of 4C LAB (501c3) and CEO of De Mi Alma Productions.
